The Senior Director of Partnerships, People + Impact is someone who leads others to be so clear, excited about and engaged in the work AMA is doing that they continually choose to partner with us, join our team, and invest in our work. This leader’s genuine investment in and empathy for all stakeholders leaves people feeling seen, understood, and empowered to transform schools with AMA.
THE ROLE
What You Will Accomplish in the Role:
Partnerships: Drive Diverse and Growing Enrollment + Funding
Build and execute strategic partnerships with near peer organizations, field partners, regional education champions, school + system organizations, philanthropic partners, and organizations supporting leaders of color in service of a diverse and committed cohort. Drive enrollment growth, including increasing the percentage of leaders of color in the cohort and expanding traditional district enrollment.
People: Attract and Retain the Best Team to Drive AMA’s Mission
Attract and retain the best team of education, disability, and equity leaders to drive AMA’s mission and impact through a transparent and equitable people system. Develop a vision and strategy for ongoing connection and engagement with AMA alumni to maintain and grow the larger community and movement.
Impact: Define and Drive the Ways We Tell Our Stories
Be a compelling storyteller and data nerd for All Means All to ensure our work is centered on driving transformational change for students within the schools and communities with which we partner. Ensure our impact is grounded and centered in the voices of students, families and communities.
A YEAR IN THE LIFE
WHO SHOULD APPLY:
School/System leaders or nonprofit leaders with experience recruiting partners and people for a mission driven organization, preferably within education or nonprofits
Leaders who thrive around other people and have a track record building strong relationships for enrollment, fundraising, and/or movement building
Leaders with clear and compelling written and verbal communication skills
Leaders who have worked with data, researchers, and other impact work.
WHEN/WHERE/HOW MUCH
Start Date: July 15, 2024
Location: Remote
Salary Range: $110,000 - $140,000 plus benefits and AMA wellness package
