Ramya is starting her 11th year in education. She is currently the Associate Director of Academics (Culture) at Alpha Public Schools in San Jose, CA. Ramya has taught 4th, 5th, and 7th grade, and she has served as an Assistant Principal at Alpha Jose Hernandez. Ramya is passionate about equity and strongly believes that education should be a liberating experience for all students. Ramya loves reading, spending time outdoors, and hanging out with her husband and dog, Lucy.
