Jonathan Caldera is the Principal of DC Prep’s Edgewood Elementary Campus. Jonathan has previously served as an Assistant Principal and as the Dean of Students at EEC. He has also worked as a Teacher, Dean, and Instructional coach in Northern Virginia, Upstate New York, and New York City. He has received principal training from Relay Graduate School of Education’s National Principals Academy, and from DC’s School Leader Lab. Jonathan attended James Madison University for his Undergraduate Degree in Music Education and George Mason University for his Graduate Degree in Education. He works hard to teach and lead through his core values of Love, Loyalty, and Self-Responsibility. He loves spending his free time biking, hiking, and playing at local playgrounds with his wife Eva, son Harrison, daughter Penelope, and two dogs Mason and Teddy!
