Christina "Chrissy" Ragin graduated from Dartmouth College in 2017 with a BA in History. After serving as a Teach for America Ambassador for her college, she was accepted into Teach for America Greater New Orleans. She joined Carver as a Special Education English teacher for students with Mild to Moderate Intellectual Disabilities in the REACH program. While teaching, she completed a 2 year M.A.T program with RELAY Graduate School of Education in Secondary English and a Special Education certification program through The New Teacher Project. In 2019, she became the Program Lead for the REACH program, a position she holds today. In an effort to continue growing her skills she became the Collegiate Academies Network Special Education English Lead in 2020, designing and tailoring special education curriculum for English and Social Studies.
