Angel Augustine is a special education leader based in New Orleans, Louisiana. She has served as the Director of Special Education at G.W. Carver High School since 2019. Prior to this role, Angel was the Specialized Program Lead for Collegiate Academies and taught both general and special education classes at G.W. Carver. She was also a co-founder of Las Sierras Academy, a program for newcomer students.

Angel is dedicated to improving outcomes for students with disabilities, especially in underserved communities. She holds a Master’s in Education Leadership and is currently pursuing a Doctor of Education at Purdue University Global. Throughout her career, Angel has focused on developing effective educational systems and supporting educators to enhance learning for all students.
